Free HVAC Quote Checklist — What We Need to Provide an Accurate Quote

Published: July 22, 2026 — CANRO Heating & Cooling — Greater Vancouver, BC

What We Need from You

To provide an accurate quote, please have ready: your equipment brand and model number (from the nameplate), the age of your current equipment if known, any previous repair history or maintenance records, your home square footage and number of floors, the number of rooms and their sizes, and any specific concerns or preferences you have.

What Our Technician Assesses

During an in-home quote, our technician: measures your home to calculate heating/cooling load, inspects your existing system and connections, checks ductwork or piping condition, assesses venting and electrical requirements, evaluates access for installation, and considers any unique aspects of your home.

Why Detailed Quotes Matter

A detailed quote based on a proper assessment ensures: the right equipment size for your home, accurate pricing (no surprise charges later), proper installation planning, correct permitting, and optimal system performance. A quick quote without a site visit is often inaccurate. We visit your home for free to provide an accurate quote.

Safety Reminder

If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide or believe there is an immediate danger, leave the property and contact emergency services or the appropriate gas emergency authority. Do not remain inside — exit the building immediately and call for help from outside.
