Emergency HVAC Priority Service — You Call, We Come Immediately

Published: July 22, 2026 — CANRO Heating & Cooling — Greater Vancouver, BC

What Qualifies as an Emergency

We classify as emergency: gas odour (call 911 first), carbon monoxide alarm (call 911 first), complete system failure during extreme weather, major water leak from equipment, sparking or smoking equipment, and any situation that threatens safety or property. Emergency calls are prioritized above all other service calls.

Emergency Response Protocol

When you call our emergency line: a live dispatcher answers immediately, your situation is assessed for safety urgency, the nearest available technician is dispatched, the technician calls you with their ETA, and they prioritize your repair above all other calls. For true emergencies, we aim for 1-2 hour response.

Priority vs Standard Service

Priority (emergency) service: immediate dispatch, 1-2 hour response, includes after-hours premium if applicable, 24/7 availability. Standard service: scheduled within 1-3 days, regular-hour rates, no premium. We never upsell emergency service — if your situation can safely wait, we tell you.

Safety Reminder

If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide or believe there is an immediate danger, leave the property and contact emergency services or the appropriate gas emergency authority. Do not remain inside — exit the building immediately and call for help from outside.
